FOstering Careers for Underrepresented Stars (FOCUS) 2022

We were really excited to have you all at our inaugural program in 2022 and are excited for a new and improved program in 2023 at the VBS Annual Meeting April 13-15 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Bellagio. After feedback from you, we have decided to expand the FOCUS-directed content to a full day on 4/13. Similar to last year, this year participants will receive waived registration, a shared hotel room for four nights (4/12-4/16) at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, and reimbursement for up to $500 in travel expenses.

To participate again this year, please obtain approval to attend the meeting from your medical school dean or ophthalmology residency program director. We ask that you also submit a CV and a no longer than 90 second audio statement identifying what you gained from the FOCUS program last year and what you hope to gain this year?
